Dr. Eric Flisser

Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York Long Island’s Medical Director.  Eric Flisser, MD, is a powerful addition to the RMA of New York team.  Dr. Flisser attained a Bachelors degree from Yale University with honors, where he served as President of the Morse College Council and received the Andrew Patterson Award for Leadership. He earned his medical doctorate at the New York University School of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Flisser pursued his subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Flisser was a recipient of a Berlex Junior Faculty Development Training Award while a Fellow at NYU. During his Fellowship, Dr. Flisser established the Bellevue Gynecologic Endocrinology Clinic- a Manhattan clinic offering affordable medical treatment to the underserved.

Dr. Flisser is a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics and has an extensive bibliography of publications and presentations, including critical evaluations of IVF treatment techniques and the use of ultrasonography in IVF. He has lectured extensively, including topics such as Twinning in IVF, advances in IVF protocols, and the advantages of extended embryo culture. Dr. Flisser’s specialties include in vitro fertilization (IVF), reproductive surgery, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and oocyte donation.

Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Flisser is an Associate Member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is also a member of the Nassau County Obstetrics and Gynecology Society, New York-Metropolitan Embryologist Society, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
